Verason Voices |
Program Language: Mandarin Chinese｜
Verason Voices is a community choir for Chinese and Chinese-speaking adults in the Greater Philadelphia area. We hope to create a space beyond school, work, and everyday responsibilities where people can unwind, enjoy making music, and meet new friends.
With instruction from a professional voice teacher and choral conductor, members will build healthy vocal technique, musicianship, ensemble skills, musical expression, and confidence as singers. The choir explores a wide range of repertoire in both Chinese and other languages, from familiar and expressive songs to more challenging choral works, with a balance of both meaningful musical growth and the simple joy of singing.
Verason Voices is also a social and musical community for young adults with Chinese background in the Greater Philadelphia area. Through rehearsals, performances, and shared musical experiences, members have the opportunity to connect with people who share similar interests and bring more music, friendship, and a sense of belonging into their lives.
Whether you have years of choral experience or simply enjoy singing and want to try something new, you are welcome to join us! No formal music background or vocal training is required, just a willingness to sing, learn, collaborate, and grow together with the group.
